Everything you need to know about Productea and how we work.

Why not hire a full-time designer?

Very good question! To begin with, the annual cost of a senior product designer At full time it already exceeds 75,000€, more perks (and good luck finding one available). Aside from that, you may not always have enough work to keep them busy at all times, so you're forced to pay for time that you're not going to make a profit.

With the monthly plan, you can pause and resume your subscription as many times as needed to ensure that you only pay your designer when you have work available for them.

Are there any limits to the number of requests?

Once subscribed, you can add as many design requests to your queue as you want, and they will be delivered to you one by one. You put the priority.

How soon will I receive my designs?

On average, most requests are completed in 2-3 (business) days or less. However, more complex requests may take longer.

Remember, the time starts to run out when we receive payment via Stripe®.

How do we meet?

We don't like meetings. We like to execute. As a general rule, we are totally Async, being able to hold meetings with Loom® or similar, in exceptional situations we can hold meetings via Google Meets, a maximum of 1 hour biweekly. Under no circumstances will we hold face-to-face meetings.

Is there a penalty if it is not delivered on time?

We value your time and trust, so you will receive a bonus of 100€ redeemable next month if you have a delay in a delivery that is not justified. (not cumulative)

What is considered a request?

Obviously a request is not “I want a complete website”, we understand a request as a section, page or view of your project. For example, make the contact page. If the request is very large, Productea reserves the right to “split” the request.

How does pausing or canceling work?

We understand that you don't have enough design work for a whole month. You may only have one or two design requests right now. That's where it helps to pause your subscription.

Billing cycles are based on 31-day periods. Let's say you sign up and use the service for 21 days, and then you decide to pause your subscription. This means that the billing cycle will be paused and you'll have 10 days of service left to use at any time in the future.

In what programs is it designed?

As a general rule, we use Figma for the delivery of designs and Notion for information.

Are there any types of work that Productea doesn't cover?

Effectively. Productea does not cover the following design work: 3D modeling, animated graphics (GIFS, etc.), document design (medical forms, etc.), complex packaging, and extensive printed design (magazines, books, etc.) as well as application development.

What are add-ons?

In addition to the standard product design service, where our deliverables are in Figma®, we offer the possibility of contracting complementary services.

To sign up for any of these services, you must have subscribed to the Pro plan or the Enterprise plan.

What is the “Product Management” plan and what does it include?

*Optional, it's an add-on. We offer the possibility of managing your development team by creating user stories and PRD (Product Requirement Documents) informational on how to develop the functionality we have designed in detail, export all the necessary resources, review and testing of everything developed to deliver pixel-perfect to the end customer.

It includes a bi-weekly follow-up meeting (1h) and the management of your development team's sprints/cycles. This plan is not available to everyone, it requires validation and availability by Productea. You can cancel or pause at any time.

(1) Important, only the product that we created, we do not manage migrations or legacy.
(2) The quality of what is delivered depends on your technical team, your stack and development times.
(3) Project management is carried out with Linear®

What is the “Webflow” plan and what does it include?

*Optional, it's an add-on. We offer the possibility of nocode development with Webflow, that means creating or updating your website in Webflow. The work format is the same, one request at a time (if you have the enterprise plan, 2) you can request as many changes, pages or sections as you want.

It includes a biweekly follow-up meeting (1h). This plan is not available to everyone, it requires validation and availability by Productea. You can cancel or pause at any time.

(1) Includes Webflow subscription price, CMS plan (while paying for the service).
(2) It includes the installation of analytics services (Google Analytics, GTM, Hotjar...)

What if I only have one request?

There's nothing going on. You can pause your subscription when you're done and come back when you have additional design needs. There's no need to waste the rest of the subscription.

Do I get my money back if I don't like the service?

As a general rule, no refunds will be made. Keep in mind that it is an artisanal work.

However, at the beginning of the subscription, we give a grace period of 7 days or 1 request. If you are not happy we will refund your money. Without discussion.

I'm a young startup, I can't afford that much.

As we said: we were, are and will be entrepreneurs, if your company meets the following requirements (all of them) you will get a 20% discount for 3 months:

- You are less than 1 year old
- Invoices less than 1,000,000€
- Your team has less than 10 people

Is the payment secure?

We use the world's best payment platform. Stripe®. Where you can change your plan, cancel or pause your subscription whenever you want. Secure payment via HTTPS/SSL.
